Tornado Drill Day on Thursday

Sirens will blare at 1:45 and 6:45 pm

  • Date: 04/20/2017 6:45 PM - 9:59 PM  
  • Location: All sirens in Olmsted County
  • Introduction: All over Minnesota, sirens will sound at 1:45 and 6:45 pm. It's part of severe weather awareness week.

Sirens will sound at 1:45 and again at 6:45 pm.  It is only a test, and part of Severe Weather Awareness Week.  Thursday, April 20 is tornado drill day.  The sirens are usually tested on the first and third Wednesday.  Today, the sirens are tested as part of a statewide drill.
