Agenda Item 1

Approve minutes from the July 13, 2017, meeting. 

Agenda Item 2

Christopher Coats Order to Show Cause Hearing.  At the July 13th meeting, the Commission failed the background for this Police Officer candidate.  The “For Cause” hearing is regarding Mr. Coats’ removal from the current Police Officer eligibility list and will serve as an opportunity for him to present evidence and/or testimony as to why his application for Police Officer should not be rejected.

Certification of Police Officer Eligibility Register.  

Agenda Item 4

Approve the request from Chief Peterson dated August 28, 2017, to extend the current Sergeant and Lieutenant eligibility list pursuant to PCSC Rule 17B until a subsequent list approved, but not to exceed one year. 

Agenda Item 5

Approve proposed changes to the Community Service Officer job description regarding the minimum qualifications requiring enrollment in, or completion of, an approved law enforcement program.

Approve US Department of Justice EEOP Utilization Report.
