Call to order

Agenda Item 1

Approve minutes from the February 2, 2015, Annual Meeting.

Agenda Item 2

Certification of Police Captain Eligibility List for a period not to exceed two years.

Agenda Item 3

Approve the request from Chief Peterson dated March 6, 2015, to provide the Mayor with a list of the top three candidates from the current Police Captain eligibility list for selection and appointment due to the retirement of Captain Scott Sherden on November 17, 2014.

Agenda Item 4

Approve the request from Chief Peterson dated March 6, 2015, to provide the Mayor with a list of the top three candidates from the current Police Lieutenant eligibility list for selection and appointment due to the promotion of Lieutenant Casey Moilanen to Captain.

Agenda Item 5

Approve the request from Chief Peterson dated March 6, 2015, to provide the Mayor with a list of the top three candidates from the current Police Sergeant eligibility list for selection and appointment due to the promotion of Sergeant Tom Faudskar to Lieutenant.

Agenda Item 6

Review and approve completed background investigations for eleven (11) Police Officer candidates.

Agenda Item 7

Approve the request from Chief Peterson dated February 23, 2015, to provide the Mayor with a list of the top three candidates from the current Police Officer eligibility list for selection and appointment of six (6) entry-level positions due to the resignation of Russell Cragin on September 14, 2014; two new officer positions approved by the City Council on January 21, 2015; Sergeant promotions of Officers Eric Boynton on November 27, 2014 and Chad Blanchette on March 19, 2015; and the resignation of Officer Michael Peterson on April 1, 2015.

Review and approve completed background investigations for two (2) Community Service Officer candidates.

Agenda Item 9

Approve the request from Chief Peterson dated March 6, 2015, to provide the Mayor with a list of the top three candidates from the current Community Service Officer eligibility list for selection and appointment of two (2) part-time, entry-level positions due to CSO Charles Arendts and Phonchia See being hired as Police Officers with the Department.
