SUMMARY:18th Avenue NW (CR 112) Reconstruction Project
DESCRIPTION:The City of Rochester and Olmsted County invites anyone with an interest in the 18th Avenue NW (CR 112) Reconstruction Project to attend the second public open house, scheduled on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM at Pax Christi Church (4135 18th Ave NW). 18th Avenue NW, also known as County Road (CR) 112, provides a critical connection in the growing northwest portion of Rochester.  As the community has grown north to 55th Street NW and beyond, the traffic on 18th Avenue NW has also increased.  The goal of this project is to reconstruct 18th Avenue NW to improve the function and safety of the roadway for vehicles and pedestrians while better serving the surrounding urbanizing land uses.  Construction of 18th Avenue NW is planned for 2017.

The purpose of the open house is to allow the public and businesses an opportunity to review and provide input on the 18th Avenue NW improvement plan.  The draft improvement layout can be viewed at https:/<a href="https://www.bolton-menk.com/clients/rochester/" target="_blank">/www.bolton-menk.com/clients/rochester/.</a>  A brief presentation will begin at 5:00pm during the open house.  Please enter the Activity Center entrance in the lower level of the church parking lot.
