Rochester Public Transit (RPT) and The Rochester Airport Company Public Consultation Survey and Meeting for their respective DBE Goals.
Pursuant to federal regulation 49 C.F.R. Part 26, Rochester Public Transit (RPT) and The Rochester Airport Company is seeking comments on the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program and goals.
In establishing the DBE goal, the federal regulations require that Rochester Public Transit (RPT) and The Rochester Airport Company consult with stakeholders. This includes, without limitation, minority and women’s business groups, community organizations, trade associations and other officials or organizations that may have information concerning the availability of disadvantaged businesses, the effects of discrimination on opportunities for DBEs, and efforts to increase DBE participation. As such, Rochester Public Transit (RPT) and The Rochester Airport Company is providing stakeholders an opportunity to share their views by completing a survey and through participating in an open stakeholder meeting on Thursday January 28, 2016 at 4:30 PM in Conference Room 104 located at the Government Center.
Please note that you may complete the survey, attend the meeting, or both. The surveys must be completed and submitted by January 31, 2016 and can be found at this web address:
