At some point, most of us are going to need to dispose of… (fill in the blank). Whether it’s household garbage, an old washing machine, a pile of leaves, or an old can of paint, Olmsted County’s Integrated Solid Waste Management System provides a Proper Place For Your Waste. In this presentation, we will take an in-depth look at the unique services provided by the Olmsted County Recycling Center Plus, Hazardous Waste Facility, Yard Waste Compost Site, Waste-to-Energy Facility, and Kalmar Landfill. Time will be set aside to discuss the items that should and should NOT be placed in your curbside garbage &amp; recycling containers. Even though a material may be labeled with the recycling symbol (chasing arrows symbol), it may not actually be recyclable. Proper waste management helps protect our environment and waterways!
