DESCRIPTION:<p>Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota student interns have spent the past two summers studying the prairie at Cascade Meadow. These interns, under the guidance of Saint Mary’s staff, have worked to control invasive plant species (including wild parsnip and sweet clover) in wetland prairie restorations, established and sampled vegetation plots, collected aquatic data from the lake, and helped to document 170 plant species on the site, over 120 of which are native. Join Saint Mary’s interns and staff to share in lessons learned from Cascade Meadow and how it relates to your own native plant garden.</p><p>Presentation by Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota interns and staff</p><p><em>The Stormwater Presents Speaker Series is a monthly program featuring topics related to stormwater management in the City of Rochester.
