DESCRIPTION:<p>The City of Rochester has implemented many different best management practices (BMPs) to mitigate the impacts of development or address specific water quality issues. The BMPs vary according to regulatory requirements at the time of construction, treatment area and physical site conditions and/or constraints. The purpose of this presentation will be to discuss the types of BMPs that are relied upon by the City of Rochester to provide water quality treatment and the associated benefits of each including an overall assessment of treatment efficiencies. The presentation will also focus on the future of stormwater management within the City of Rochester and emphasis on green infrastructure. </p><i></i><p>Presentation by Troy Erickson, Stormwater Engineer for the City of Rochester</p><p><em>The Stormwater Presents Speaker Series is a monthly program featuring topics related to stormwater management in the City of Rochester.
