DESCRIPTION:<p>Just how important is it for us to know about the ground we walk on?&nbsp; Jeff Green, a Groundwater Hydrologist for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, will elaborate on southeastern Minnesota’s landscape, why it looks different from the rest of the state, and how the karst geology influences the groundwater supply. He will also provide some examples about karst issues in the Rochester and Olmsted County area.
