DESCRIPTION:<p>RPU currently has about 40,000 water customers.&nbsp; This water comes from underground aquifers and is of such high quality that very little treatment is needed.&nbsp; As Rochester’s population grows, RPU must rise to the challenge of maintaining water quality and quantity.&nbsp; This means planning infrastructure investments to ensure water supply, as well as protecting wells from contamination and preserving rare wetlands unique to Rochester.&nbsp; Come see how RPU is taking action to protect the quality and ensure the quantity of Rochester’s water for future generations.</p><p>&nbsp;Presentation by Todd Osweiler, Rochester Public Utilities</p><p><em>The Stormwater Presents Speaker Series is a monthly program featuring topics related to stormwater management in the City of Rochester.
